Wedding FAQ
How many guests can Sanctuary Hills accommodate?
We specialize in small to mid-size weddings. Depending on your tent and seating arrangements, we can typically accommodate up to 125-150 guests comfortably. If you're planning something more intimate, we’re happy to host much smaller gatherings as well.
Is alcohol allowed on the property?
No. Sanctuary Hills is a dry venue — no alcohol is permitted on-site, including during rehearsal dinners or receptions. We ask that all couples and guests honor this policy in keeping with the sacred nature of our grounds.
Are weddings available year-round?
Weddings are available on select dates throughout the year. We host only a limited number of weddings annually to maintain the restful, intentional atmosphere Sanctuary Hills is known for. Please contact us for current availability.
Do you require us to use your preferred vendors?
No, but we highly recommend them. Our preferred vendors are professionals who know our space well and share our values for excellence and reverence. You’re welcome to bring in your own vendors (with prior approval), but using ours often provides a smoother, more seamless experience.
Is there a chapel or designated ceremony space?
While we don’t have a traditional chapel, we offer multiple beautiful outdoor ceremony sites with stunning mountain and hillside views. Each one provides a natural, sacred backdrop for your covenant ceremony. We’ll help you choose the perfect spot during your tour or planning process.
Do we have to rent tables, chairs, or a tent through you?
Yes. We’ll coordinate all rentals for you to keep things simple. Tables and chairs are rented based on guest count, and a tent is available for an additional cost. We’ll provide pricing during your planning process.
What’s included in the Honeymoon Suite?
Your honeymoon suite includes a beautifully appointed private cottage or suite, complete with cozy furnishings, scenic views, and peaceful privacy. You’ll also receive a gift basket with meaningful touches to help you settle in and celebrate.
Can we visit the property before booking?
Yes! We would love to host you for a tour and give you space to pray, dream, and ask questions. Please reach out to schedule a visit.
What makes Sanctuary Hills different from other venues?
Sanctuary Hills is not just a venue — it’s a faith-based retreat space. Our heart is to provide an atmosphere of rest, beauty, and holiness. From the peaceful hills of East Tennessee to the quiet moments in your honeymoon cottage, we want every part of your wedding weekend to reflect the sacredness of the covenant you’re making.
